Sky Watch Friday -- In Waco

Stepped out of our Waco office for a minute yesterday and saw this incredible (at the time) VERY STRAIGHT LINE in the sky. Ran back inside to get my camera. Tried to do a quick Stitch Photo series. In less than a minute the sky changed from the first photo here (shots 1 & 2 stitched together) and the 2nd (which would have been shot 3). And after all that, we only 1/10" of an inch of rain!
Head on over to WiggersWorld to see more Sky Watch Friday! Photos.

I would have thought this was a very threatening sky.

I do like that top cloud and you give us just enough words to make sense out of it. Nice work and that FedEx truck looks like it got washed off.

What a contrast to your other skywatch today! These are very dramatic, and yes the sky changes in an instant along with the photos. Great shots.

Have you had enough grey in your pallet for today. Thanks for us you got your camera. Here, we have such a black sky only once a year.
Fantastic for a Sky Watch.

Sounds to me like you scared off the rain, because that sky looked like it was determined to dump on someone's parade.

Such a small amount of rain for such a nimbus nimbus set of clouds! Youse was robbed!!

Good post - the text and the image complement each other well to my way of thinking. Thank you.

That is a very menacing sky! Both great shots.

I had to laugh at the FedEx truck. We always crack up here at our house when we notice so many shots have fed ex or ups trucks in them. You can't get away from them -- they are everywhere! :)
