Corsicana -- Then and Now: Methodist Church

Methodist Church NOW......Methodist Church postcard from 1906.....

My NOW shot is taken from the side street to the right of the church in the post card view from 1906. If you enlarge the new photo (taken 4/14/08) you'll see the moon up near the steeple. That was the reason for taking the shot from this angle.

It looks just as good today as it did so long ago.

elle est belle cette église, et j'aime beaucoup l'ancienne carte postale.

it is this beautiful church, and I love the old postcard.

Great shot of that beautiful old church with moon! With the postcard it's a good contrast post.

I have to thank the world of City Daily Photo (that's YOU, my friend)for opening my eyes to seeing the town in a different light. It is truly wonderful that this little city has worked so diligently to preserve so many wonderful old buildings. This church is truly beautiful and has changed so little in over 100 years.
How many AMERICAN cities with a population of 22,000 can say that?
