I haven't located any old photos of this buildiing, so I don't know it's original use. It is now the home of the Victorian Sample Florist. I remember when they moved in there in the 1990's. If anyone out there knows more about this building, please let me know!
It was originally designed as a bar and brothel. Upstairs was one long hall with small rooms for the prostitutes. The upstairs has been converted to a quite decadent living space.
I no longer live in Corsicana, but I did from 1992 - 2006. And I still drive through there several times a week. Until someone who lives there starts a City Daily Photo blogsite, I will update this one.

The proportions of that building are really nice, and the occupants seem to keep it looking to best advantage!

A beautiful red brick. I wish buildings were still built like this.
